People say we are just kids, and we are too young to love
If we are hurting inside people just say 'your a kid get over it'
'You dont even know what love is'
'Stop tryna get attention'
But i think thats fucked up
Why is it that whilst we are young we have to experience every emotion,
We can lose someone close to us and be griefing and distressed for so long
We can be excited, sad, horny whatever!
We commit suicide because we are depressed
Yet when we are blessed enoguh to be experiencing this emotion, called love
We are labelled as attention seekers or criticised for not knowing what it is
Its bullshit,
At the age we are at now we experience love for our family and friends as intense as it ever Will be
Yet when it comes to taking it that one more step forward towards bonds with others beyond Friendship,
Its just not approved by so many.
Its stupid cos anyday we could lose our life,
Everyday we put up with so much,
Yet love is a thing which will aid as all in escaping the dramas of growing up,
It gives us things to look forward to and memories to last forever,
It gives us a main reason to have the willpower and energy to get up every morning
So why if we say we are in love are we laughed upon?
I get it we dont know love the ways in which married couples do blah blah blah
But nevertheless its the same thing.
